Referendum Information  


Future funding for all Oshkosh Area Schools and our school buildings will be decided by voters in the November 3 election. Question one would renew existing funds for operating our schools, paying our staff and providing learning materials. Question two would provide funding to invest in school building improvements across the district - for safe, flexible and cost-effective schools. Virtual Learner Caregiver Series

You are making it through distance learning and we see how hard you are working to balance everything.  The newsletter link below includes a short video and links of helpful suggestions from behavior interventionists, Michelle Mees, Kristin Bartelt and Mary Diedrich.

If you still have questions, ideas or frustrations and would like to work together to problem solve, please join Kristin, Michelle and Mary, for an open zoom meeting (link in slide show) on Thursday, Oct. 22nd at 9:30am to share ideas.  We appreciate all your efforts at home!

Keep Contacting the School!


In an effort to continue to track symptomatic students, return dates to school, and Covid-19 cases, we kindly ask that you continue to notify your school nurse when your child has symptoms, has tested positive for Covid-19, or has been a close contact to someone that has tested positive for Covid-19. Please call 920-509-0586 or email with Covid-related information. Thank you. 

At this time, based on objective criteria and guidance from the Winnebago County Health Department, the OASD will
remain in Model 4: Virtual Learning district-wide.

Virtual Daily Attendance is still being recorded.  You or your child will need to log into Infinite Campus daily to check in.  School staff will be in the office during virtual learning.  Please contact your child's teacher by email or the school by phone, 920-424-0170, if you have any questions or need help with your child's virtual learning.

Free Student Meals During district-wide Model 4: Virtual Learning

School meals will be provided in a grab-and-go format at four OASD school sites within the district. The meals will be distributed on Mondays and Thursdays at the following locations and times, beginning Thursday, September 24. Please read the following update for more information: OASD Update 09.22.20 - New Information on Free Meals During Virtual Learning  

  • Jefferson Elementary (in front of main entrance) from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. 
  • Webster Stanley Elementary (in front of main entrance) from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.  
  • West High School (in front of door 24) from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.  
  • North High School (circle drive in front of school) from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.

School Picture - Round 2 are here!

The pictures came in from our 2nd picture day on Sept. 22nd.  You can stop by the school office to pick them up or we are planning another materials pick up day next week and they will be added. Details will be emailed to families as soon as it is finalized.  

Parents are able to get copies of their child's pictures from Network Photography at any time during the school year.  You can contact the company at any time to place an order.  Information for is below.

Registration Fees/Free and Reduced Lunch

All students enrolled in the Oshkosh Area School District need to pay an instructional fee.  Please double check the "Fees" tab in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account to check your current balance.  Payments can be made through the portal or sent to the school office.  Checks should be made out to Oaklawn Elementary School.  Please label the payment with your student's name and which fee you are paying for.  Destiny/Media book fines are also listed  in the "Fees" tab.  Some fees may be waived for students who qualify for free/reduced lunches.  It is the families responsiblity to make sure you complete the proper paperwork.  All applications have a section to complete to have the fees waived.  Families/students who have directly certified for free/reduced lunch by the state have an extra form included with their status letter that needs to be returned to the school office.  You can NOT assume your fees are waived just because you qualify.  

Free/Reduced Lunch applications are available online.
