Save The Date!

2023 -2024 Open House and Get To Know You Conferences are scheduled for Tues. Aug. 29th and Wed. Aug 30th from 3-6pm.  You will receive an email with instructions from the PTCFast website to sign up for a time to come in and meet your child's teacher and drop off school supplies.  

1st day of school is Friday, September 1, 2024.

Important information if you are attending......

Parents/Guardians of Grade 5 students are invited to attend this event.  Our OASD School Policy requires that all visitors check in at the office for a visitor badge.  A valid ID is required. You can pre-register for the event only if you have had your ID scanned at the office during a prior visit.  If you do not pre-register, be prepared to wait in line to go through the office to get your visitor badge.

Coats are Required under 60 degrees! 

Cold Weather Gear/Spring Mud

Students at Oaklawn are required to wear a coat/jacket outside for recess if the temperature outside is less than 60 degrees.  We have many students in the morning on the playground without a coat.  It is only 40 degrees some mornings!  Please make sure your child is dressed for outdoor recess every day.

Summer Meals Free at Oaklawn

All students are invited to Oaklawn during the summer for free breakfast and lunch.  All children 18 yrs and younger can participate and you do NOT need to be enrolled in summer school.

will be available online on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal in mid-July and will also be
mailed out in the US mail to all households in mid-July. Please return your completed
application to the Food Services Office, Oshkosh West High School, 375 N. Eagle St.,
Oshkosh, WI 54902, or the Elementary School Office your child attends on or before
the first day of school.

HAVE LUNCH WITH YOUR CHILD All Elementary Schools and the Food Services
Department invites parents of school-age children to have lunch with their child any
school day. Please let the school office know in advance so we can make sure a lunch
gets ordered for you. You may bring money with you to pay for the meal or the adult
lunch can be charged to your students Food Service Account.

The food service department is seeking individuals to work for our department serving
breakfast and / or lunch. The majority of these positions available are 1.5 - 2 hours in
length and are during the breakfast and lunch service time, which varies with the school.
Opportunities for longer shifts and additional hours may also be available. Please see
the WECAN at website for employment opportunities
along with applying for positions within the Food Service Department.
