Keep Contacting the School
The OASD still has COVID-19 protocols in place. If anyone in your household shows symptoms of Covid-19 please keep all school age household members at home and contact your child's school. We are still contact tracing and quarantining students as needed.
In an effort to continue to track symptomatic students, return dates to school, and Covid-19 cases, we kindly ask that you continue to notify your school nurse when your child has symptoms, has tested positive for Covid-19, or has been a close contact to someone that has tested positive for Covid-19. Please call 920-509-0586 or email kaitlyn.williams@oshkosh.k12.
6th Grade Immunization Requirements
(First dose given at age 11, before entering 6th grade)
Your 5th grade child will need the Tdap immunization before entering 6th grade as required by Wisconsin State Law.
Please inform your school of the immunizations your child has received by emailing the school nurse your child’s name and date of immunization.

Oaklawn Elementary Has HEART!
Hello Oaklawn Elementary Heart Heroes!
We have officially kicked off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge program through the American Heart Association! It runs now through May 14th. Who is your favorite Heart Hero from this week’s kick-offs? Do you remember all of the heart healthy messages?
Visit http://www2.heart.org/goto/oaklawn to take the challenge to: Be Kind, Move More or Choose Water.
This year we are accepting online donations. EVERY class with 50%+ of the students to take the online challenge = $25 Amazon. When our school has 5+ classes reach this = BONUS $100 in PE equipment.
Last year we raised nearly $7,000 = let’s see how many lives we can help this year!
Thank you for your support!

Missing Books at Oaklawn
The Oaklawn Guided Reading Library needs your help. Over the past year many books have been shared with students while learning virtually. Please check at your house for any books from the Guided Reading Library that you are done reading and return them to Oaklawn so the books can be shared with other students.
