Urgent-All Parents!  Fees in Infinite Campus

We would like ALL families to check their IC parent portal to see if you have any unpaid fees.  Even those families who have fee waivers should double check to make sure the waivers have be applied.  There are many families who have outstanding fees that continue to track with them during the school career in Oshkosh.  If you have any questions about your account, please contact the school office at 920-424-0170 or email

FYI - The school district did NOT charge an instructional fee for the current school year 2021-22.

Registration Fees/Free and Reduced Lunch

Please double check the "Fees" tab in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account to check your current balance.  Payments can be made through the portal or sent to the school office.  Checks should be made out to Oaklawn Elementary School.  Please label the payment with your student's name and which fee you are paying for.  Destiny/Media book fines are also listed  in the "Fees" tab.  Some fees may be waived for students who qualify for free/reduced lunches.  It is the family's responsibility to make sure you complete the proper paperwork.  All applications have a section to complete to have the fees waived.  Families/students who have been directly certified for free/reduced lunch by the state have an extra form included with their status letter that needs to be returned to the school office.  You can NOT assume your fees are waived just because you qualify.

State Testing for Grades 3, 4 and 5

Parents of 3rd, 4th & 5th graders:

3rd Grade Testing:  April 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

4th Grade Testing:  April 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20 and 21.

5th Grade Testing:  April 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Please review the above dates for your child’s Wisconsin Forward Exam. Please do not schedule
appointments, vacations, etc. during your child’s testing window. Third and fifth graders will be tested in
Language Arts and Math. Fourth graders will be evaluated in Language Arts, Math, Science and Social
Studies. If you have any questions regarding the Wisconsin Forward Exam, please contact your child’s
classroom teacher.

Cold Weather Gear/Spring Mud

Please make sure your child is dressed for outdoor recess every day.  Students need to be wearing boots and snow pants if they want to play in the snow or on the playground equipment.  Students without will need to stay on the shoveled paths.  Students stay inside for recess if the temperature is 10 degrees or below OR the wind chill is 0 degrees or below.

Every other day will be spring thaw and mud will be everywhere.

Keep Contacting the School

The OASD still has COVID-19 protocols in place.  If anyone in your household shows symptoms of Covid-19 please keep all school age household members at home and contact your child's school.  We are still contact tracing and quarantining students as needed.

In an effort to continue to track symptomatic students, return dates to school, and Covid-19 cases, we kindly ask that you continue to notify your school nurse when your child has symptoms, has tested positive for Covid-19, or has been a close contact to someone that has tested positive for Covid-19. PTO Update 3-17-21

There has been an update in Executive Positions within the PTO. Oaklawn Elementary and the PTO team wish the best to the former PTO President, Stephanie Pereira Da Silva, in her future endeavors and thanks her for her service for the past 6.5 years on the team.  You have done wonderful things for the Oaklawn Community and the leadership you have brought to the PTO has been invaluable.
