In light of recent events, please take the time to ensure that all contact information is up to date in your parent portal account.  If an emergency arises, the district will send out all information via the methods you have marked in your account. 



PTO Updates

Don’t worry about dinner these next few nights!  Take advantage of our PTO Dine and Donate nights, and skip the dinner dishes!  Friday, 12/6 is at Fazoli’s and Monday and Tuesday, 12/9 & 12/10 are at Rocky Rococo’s/Roses Subs.


Milk & Cookies with Santa - Please RSVP by December 16th

Thursday, December 19th 6:00 p.m. in the Oaklawn Cafeteria

Wear your pajamas and bring your favorite book to read together as a family (all kids will leave with a new book this evening).

OAKLAWN Parent Teacher Conferences

December 5th and 10th 2019 3:30-6:30 p.m. 

By Appointment

The Oaklawn Staff are looking forward to meeting with you on either Thursday, Dec 5th or Tuesday, December 10th for a 15 minute conference between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. Parents will log into Infinite Campus to identify the class placement for their child and then follow this link to sign up for PTCFast.  https://www.ptcfast.com/schools/Oaklawn_Elementary_School You will then be sent an email with a list of available times to select for conference with each teacher.  (NOTE: If you are typing the link into your internet browser by hand, there is an _ “underscore” between Oaklawn_Elementary_School.  

 Steps to follow:

  1. If you don’t know your teacher. Log into IC (Infinite Campus) to identify class placement and teacher.  

  2. Follow link to PTCFast, complete information and check for email from PTCFast.

  3. Select an available conference timeslot with your teacher.  (A great feature of this program is being able to see available times for all teachers you need to meet with for conferences.  If you have multiple children at Oaklawn, please consider leaving a 15 minute block between conferences to provide time to transition between rooms.)

Fun for Young Athletes with Disabilities - US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer Program - Jan. 4

TOPSoccer is a Free community-based program for young athletes with disabilities with the goal to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl who has a mental or physical disability.

Aerospace Project - Dec. 17

Winnebago County 4-H is hosting a series of "Build It & Fly It" events to spur youth interest in aerospace.

Archery - Jan. 4

Open to all youths ages 8 - 19, must be a current Winnebago County 4-H member or willing to become one, and no prior experience needed.
