Covid Protocols-Still Current
The school district still is using Covid-19 protocols.
Students will be sent home/excluded from in-person instruction under the following circumstances:

Within the last 24 hours, the individual or their household member has experienced the following symptoms above their baseline:
-
Cough
-
Shortness of breath
-
Difficulty breathing
-
New loss of taste or smell
-
At least two or more of the following symptoms:
-
Fever of 100.4 degrees or higher *
-
Vomiting*
-
Diarrhea*
-
Muscle or body aches
-
Headache
-
Sore throat
-
Fatigue
-
Congestion or runny nose
-
Nausea
-
-
*Vomiting, diarrhea, and fever as a single symptom should still exclude a child from school. However, each of these as a single symptom do not necessarily indicate the need to test for COVID-19 or for COVID-19 isolation.
State Testing for Grades 3, 4 and 5
Parents of 3rd, 4th & 5th graders:
3rd Grade Testing: April 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
4th Grade Testing: April 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20 and 21.
5th Grade Testing: April 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Please review the above dates for your child’s Wisconsin Forward Exam. Please do not schedule
appointments, vacations, etc. during your child’s testing window. Third and fifth graders will be tested in
Language Arts and Math. Fourth graders will be evaluated in Language Arts, Math, Science and Social
Studies. If you have any questions regarding the Wisconsin Forward Exam, please contact your child’s
classroom teacher.
Literacy Night & Book Fair Kick Off!
April 18 from 5-7pm in the Oaklawn Cafeteria
It's too late to RSVP to dinner but you can always join us for the Book Fair.

Coats are Required under 60 degrees!
Cold Weather Gear/Spring Mud
Students at Oaklawn are required to wear a coat/jacket outside for recess if the tempature outside is less than 60 degrees. We have many students in the morning on the playground without a coat. It is only 40 degrees some mornings! Please make sure your child is dressed for outdoor recess every day.
Every other day will be spring thaw and mud will be everywhere.
Keep Contacting the School
The OASD still has COVID-19 protocols in place. If anyone in your household shows symptoms of Covid-19 please keep all school age household members at home and contact your child's school. We are still contact tracing and quarantining students as needed.
In an effort to continue to track symptomatic students, return dates to school, and Covid-19 cases, we kindly ask that you continue to notify your school nurse when your child has symptoms, has tested positive for Covid-19, or has been a close contact to someone that has tested positive for Covid-19.
